A Kids Eye View...

So the other day Nayshawn called to ask if I could send his camera with my Mom when she goes down to Jamaica tomorrow. ( I had given him my very old Sony Cyber Shot to see how he does with it before I purchase a new camera for him.) I wanted to make sure he had enough space to take as many pictures as he wanted to I uploaded the pictures on the camera. Most of the pics are of His TV and his cars but I saw this one that he took of himself. It is out of focus but something about it makes me smile. I think it is because I think it really captures his little personality. I just got off the phone with Niah and they are at the beach. Oh I miss spending time like that with them. They should be back by the 8th when my Mom comes back. I can't wait to see them. As a surprise I am trying to redecorate their rooms. I bought each one a new bed and I bought the army fatigues bed set that Nay wanted. Also Niah got her Daybed. Ezzy wants to paint the wall behind his bed with fatigues and Niah will probably get pink and purple stripes. This is so much fun I love decorating. I hope they like it. Cousins Weekend in Orlando...

So the Weekend after I came back from Jamaica I planned a little getaway with my brother and cousins and hubby of course. We went to Orlando. We all had such a good time. Eight of us just clowning. We stayed at the Disney Pop Century Hotel and did two parks in one day. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. We definitely plan on doing something else in the future. Here are some pics from the park.

More Pics from Jamaica...

Only in Jamaica can a 7 yr old play pool in a bar. This is a picture of Nayshawn playing pool in my Dad's Bar. It would seem taboo here but there it is no big deal.

This is a picture of an area called Holland Bamboo. It is about a mile of road with bamboo on both side that cover the road to make a canopy. It is must prettier in real life.

OK so this was the only picture I have from the trip of all three of us. Those little stinkers. Just look at those faces. Got to love them. Took this picture when we went to Little Ochie to eat Curry Lobster. Yummy.

This is my great grandma which makes her Nayshawn and Niah's Great Great Grandma. What a beautiful thing. She is having a great time watching and listening to the kids play everyday.

These kids can always find something to do to pass the time. My Dad hanging with the kids. These kids are too funny. They will run when they see a fly around but manage to play with a centipede. I think this is what I miss the most the beautiful sunsets that I can sit and watch from my grandmother's front porch. Isn't it just breath-taking. Well, kids are doing go in Jamaica but just called tonight and wanted to come home. But right after they spilled their guts to me they ran back into the yard to play ball. Niah went to the salon today and got her hair done while Nayshawn stayed home and relaxed and played video games. I promised them that I would redecorate their room before they get back so I am in the planning phases of that. I will post more pics later.

I'm BACK.....

I'm back. Had tons of fun. Jamaica was great. Hated leaving the kids but they are having a good time. They told me they are't really to come home yet. Orlando was a blast. I will post some pics soon.

Headed to Jamaica Tomorrow...

Well we are headed to Jamaica tomorrow. I am excited and sad. Excited because I will be around family and experiencing the beauty of the island. Sad because the kids will be staying with my grandmother until the 7th. Wow, I am trying to be strong but it is hard. I have never been away from them for such a long time. Two or three days but never a month (technically 3 1/2 weeks). Took them out yesterday and took some pics before they go so I can have something to scrap while they are gone.

Niah's Princess Party....

Niah turns 5 on Wednesday so we had a pretty Princess Party for her and two of her friends at Justice Just for Girls. They had a ball. They did their make-up and nails, made birthday cards, listened to Hanna Montana, and posed for glamour shots. Fun Girlie stuff for my girlie girl.
