I still Scrapbook...

Practicing my photography skills....

Very happy with this one. Love how Niah is blurred in the back. Nay was a little upset because he could not understand how we could go to the beach and not swim. But the winds were so bad the lifeguard wouldn't let any one in the water.

Tried to do a little magazine ad. I could send this to Children's Place and see if they use it. LOL I love the kids clothes in that store. Such bright colors.Nay was pissed because I was standing in the middle of the road and a car had to go around me. But it really wasn't a busy road. It was a side street. I saw the graffiti and had to try at least one pic next to this wall.

Niah picked this spot. Nay was so worried that the owner of the house would come out and yell at us. But Niah was all game to take some pics there.

After the graduation on Saturday I took the kids the a birthday party at the bowling alley. They had so much fun. I didn't even know Nayshawn knew how to bowl. He did great. I think he would have been able to bowl without the gutters up. Niah on the other hand was just too cute. When she threw the ball it went so slow at first, it bearly hit the pins down but once she got the hang of it she ended up bowling a spare. Nayshawn still beat her though. They did get a gift card in their gooddie bag for a free game. They really want to go back, so I think I will take them back this weekend since it's a holiday weekend.

Niah's Graduation

Here are some pictures from Niah's graduation on Saturday. I was so nice. All the kids did very well and the program was great. They introduced themselves in English and in Spanish. Very impressive.

I got her hair blown out for the occasion but by the end of the program it was all puffy. She was still very cute.

Random Thoughts....

Love this pic of Niah being silly. With her dreads. Just kidding. He hair does look like dreads in this pic. That child has so much personality. She will turn 5 on June 6th. I still is hard to believe. She almost didn't make it to birth and even after I had her she flat lined and now she is getting ready to go to school.

This little sweety is my niece Aliyah. I got the opportunity to take some pics of her on Sunday. Tons of fun but I was exhausted trying to keep up with her.

Went out with the girls last night to celebrate my friend Tia's birthday. Let just say the server had a hard time focusing on getting our order straight. We ate at a Polynesian restaurant in Ft Lauderdale. Very fun night but I am paying for it now. The night air caused my sinuses to get infected. I took some meds and I am off to bed.

Sick Days...

Poor Niah. She has been sick for the last two days. I hope she feels better soon.

Tired....

I really think I need a break. I find myself very cranky. I am yelling alot and the kids are really getting on my nerves. Niah wouldn't go to bed. She was coughing and wouldn't take her medicine. She spit it all over the kitchen floor. Why does it have to be so hard? I am sure she will be waking me up in the middle of the night. I then went into the bathroom and saw hair in the sink. It took me a while but I figured out the Nayshawn used his Daddy's razor to cut patches of hair out of his head. Thank goodness he didn't cut himself and the patches are small. Why me? Why do they keep doing things like this? I really want to believe what my Mom keeps telling me, "Kids will be Kids". But I really don't remember me brothers acting like this. I am really looking forward to shipping them off to Jamaica to stay with my grandmother for a month after school is out. Lord knows I need the break. It has really been hard especially since Ezzy is working 7 days a week and doesn't come home until 11/12 everynight. I think it is time to get away again. I know we just went out of town in March but I think I am due some me time really soon.

I decided to take it all out on paper and created this Layout. It is for the Doodling Challenge at TallyScapper.

Niah helping me practice on my new camera. She is such a great subject. I really should try to put her in modeling. Nayshawn and Mekhi doing it up for the camera on Saturday (Nayshawn's Birthday). They are a month apart. Watch out ladies these two are going to break some hearts very soon.

Man, this week just seemed to go on and on and on. I am so happy it is Friday. Today is my brother Gavin's Birthday. He turned 20 today. I can remember when I turned 20 and how excited I was to be turning into an adult. Happy Birthday Gavin. Tomorrow is Nayshawn's Birthday. My little man will be 7 tomorrow. Boy how time flies. I preordered tickets to see Spiderman 3 at the IMAX tomorrow. Last weekend we watched the first two episodes to refresher our memories to be ready. Tonight is pizza and Nayshawn's little friend (my friend Tasha's son) is sleeping over.

This picture of Niah has nothing to do with what I am talking about in this post but I think she looks so cute. I love this shirt. I think it says it all.

Oh almost forgot (I don't know how). I got me new camera yesterday. I am still trying to figure everything out. Ezzy had to show me how to attach the lens. I am in heaven now.

Making Our House...

Big improvement! Don't mind the grass. That is the next thing we will be working on. You can't tell in the picture but the texture on the house is Stucco. I have wanted to do this since we bought the house 4 years ago. I think I will need some flowers up front. I have my pots already, so Sunday I will be off to Lowes to buy some flowers for my pots. I am definately getting a bird bath. Don't ask me why but I have always wanted one.

Today is my Honey's Birthday. He is going to the Tatoo shop. I wish I could be there with him but I am suck at work. yuck. But later on we are all going to dinner. The kids are a little disappointed that we won't be having a cake or a party. But I think they will be OK.
